Meizu 16 with In-Display fingerprint sensor launched in China, price starts at 2698yuan

  Meizu has launched the Meizu 16 and 16 plus smartphones in China. Meizu 16 has a 6-inch ( 1080 × 2160 pixels) Full HD+ Super AMOLED display with 18:9 aspect ratio display. It has Dual sim card slot. It has 3D glass back with ceramic texture.


  The Meizu 16 is powered by the Octa-Core Qualcomm Snapdragon 845 Mobile Platform with Adreno 630 GPU. It has 6GB RAM with 64GB / 128GB (UFS 2.1) internal storage, 8GB RAM with 128GB (UFS 2.1) internal storage. The Meizu 16 is running on Android 8.1 (Oreo) with Flyme OS.

  The Meizu 16 comes with dual rear camera setup, it has a 12MP rear camera with wide-angle lens, 1/2.3″ Sony IMX380 sensor, 1.55μm pixel size, f/1.8 aperture, Four-axis OIS, PDAF, Laser auto-focus, and it has a secondary 20MP telephoto lens, Sony IMX350 sensor, f/2.6 aperture, 6-LED ring LED flash. It has a 20MP front-facing camera with f/2.0 aperture. It can support AI face unlock.

  The Meizu 16 comes with In-Display fingerprint sensor. It has 4G VoLTE, Wi-Fi 802.11 ac (2.4GHz + 5GHz) 2 x 2 MIMO, Bluetooth 5, GPS + GLONASS connectivity. It has a USB Type-C port and a 3.5mm Audio jack. It has dual speakers. It packs a 3010mAh battery and it can support mCharge fast charging.

  The Meizu 16 6GB RAM + 64GB internal storage version is priced at 2698 yuan (US$ 395 / ₹ 27,140 approx.), the 6GB + 128GB version is priced at 2998 yuan (US$ 439 / ₹ 30,150 approx.) and the 8GB + 128GB version costs 3298 yuan (US$ 483 / ₹ 33,170 approx.) in China. Now, this smartphone is available for order in China and will go on sale from August 16th.

  LG has introduced the LG V50 ThinQ smartphone at MWC 2019, this is the company’s first 5G smartphone. It sports a 6.4-inch (3120 x 1440 pixels) 19.5:9 FullVision OLED Display.
