Meizu 16 plus with In-Display fingerprint sensor, Snapdragon 845 SoC launched in China

  Meizu has launched the Meizu 16 and 16 plus smartphones in China. Meizu 16 plus has a 6.5-inch ( 1080 × 2160 pixels) Full HD+ Super AMOLED display with 18:9 aspect ratio display. It has Dual sim card slot. It has 3D glass back with ceramic texture.


  The Meizu 16 plus is powered by the Octa-Core Qualcomm Snapdragon 845 Mobile Platform with Adreno 630 GPU. It has 6GB RAM with 128GB (UFS 2.1) internal storage, 8GB RAM with 128GB / 256GB (UFS 2.1) internal storage. The Meizu 16 plus is running on Android 8.1 (Oreo) with Flyme OS.

  The Meizu 16 plus comes with dual rear camera setup, it has a 12MP rear camera with wide-angle lens, 1/2.3″ Sony IMX380 sensor, 1.55μm pixel size, f/1.8 aperture, Four-axis OIS, PDAF, Laser auto-focus, and it has a secondary 20MP telephoto lens, Sony IMX350 sensor, f/2.6 aperture, 6-LED ring LED flash. It has a 20MP front-facing camera with f/2.0 aperture. It can support AI face unlock.

  The Meizu 16 plus comes with In-Display fingerprint sensor. It has 4G VoLTE, Wi-Fi 802.11 ac (2.4GHz + 5GHz) 2 x 2 MIMO, Bluetooth 5, GPS + GLONASS connectivity. It has a USB Type-C port and a 3.5mm Audio jack. It has dual speakers. It packs a 3010mAh battery and it can support mCharge fast charging.

  The Meizu 16 Plus 6GB RAM + 128GB Internal storage version is priced at 3198 yuan (US$ 468 / ₹ 32,165 approx.), the 8GB RAM + 128GB Internal storage version priced at 3498 yuan (US$ 512 / ₹ 35,180 approx.) and the high-end 8GB RAM + 256GB Internal storage version costs 3998 yuan (US$ 585 / ₹ 40,210 approx.) in China. Now, this smartphone is available for order in China and will go on sale from August 20th.
