Oppo F9 with Dual rear camera, 6.3-inch Full HD+ 19.5:9 Display launched



  Oppo has launched the Oppo F9 smartphone in Vietnam and Philippines. The Oppo F9 packs a  6.3-inch (2280 x 1080 pixels) Full HD+ display with 19.5:9 aspect ratio, no details about the display protection. In terms of design, the Oppo F9 smartphone comes with unique design. It has a gradient color design, again a first in the F series. This uses advanced color processes. To achieve a unified design, this smartphone comes with a gradient design on the side frame, making the sides and the back a naturally connected whole. It has dedicated dual sim card slot and a microSD card slot. This smartphone can support Dual 4G VoLTE connectivity.


  The Oppo F9 is powered by the Octa Core MediaTek Helio P60 12nm processor (Quad 2GHz Cortex A73 + Quad 2GHz Cortex A53 CPUs) with ARM Mali-G72 MP3 GPU. It has 4GB / 6GB RAM with 64GB internal memory, you can expand memory up to 256GB with microSD card via dedicated microSD card slot. This smartphone is running ColorOS 5.2 based on Android 8.1 (Oreo) OS.

  The Oppo F9 comes with dual rear camera setup, it has a main 16MP rear camera with f/1.85 aperture, and it has a secondary 2MP camera with LED flash. It has a 25MP front-facing camera with Sony IMX576 sensor, f/2.0 aperture. Both the rear and front-facing cameras can record full HD videos. This smartphone comes with some features such as a portrait mode, artificial intelligence (AI) based scene recognition, AI Beautification 2.1, AR stickers, and Slow Motion video mode. It has face unlock feature.


  The Oppo F9 has a fingerprint sensor on the back. It has Dual 4G VoLTE, WiFi 802.11 ac (2.4GHz + 5GHz), Bluetooth 4.2, GPS connectivity. It has a microUSB port and a 3.5mm Audio jack. It packs a 3500mAh battery and it can support VOOC Flash charge.

  The Oppo F9 is priced at 76,90,000 Vietnamese Dong (US$ 331 / ₹ 23,290 approx.) for the 4GB RAM version, while the price for the 6GB RAM variant is yet to be revealed. The 4GB RAM variant is already available for pre-orders in the Vietnamese market, though its shipments will begin starting August 24.
