Xiaomi Mi CC9 with triple rear camera setup, Snapdragon 710 SoC, 32MP front-facing camera launched



  Xiaomi has launched the Mi CC9 smartphone in China. It sports a 6.39-inch (1080 × 2280 pixels) Full HD+ AMOLED display with 103.8% NTSC color gamut, and it has Corning Gorilla Glass 5 protection. It has Hybrid dual SIM card slot. The Mi CC9 series come in White Lover, Blue Planet and Dark Prince colors which produce a 3D effect. It also comes with a vertical logo and has a multi-color LED light on its back cover. In addition to acting as a notification LED, the hue light also supports unique light effects for games and can also pulse along to your favorite music.


  The company also introduced the Mi CC9 Meitu Edition with gradient colour, reminiscent of the famous beaches of the Bahamas. You will see the similar specifications as the CC9, but the company added some extra features. It comes with highly-customized UI theme and ringtone that vibes with its holographic back cover. The company also added some extra features in camera department.

  The Mi CC9 is powered by the Octa-Core Snapdragon 710 10nm Mobile Platform (Dual 2.2GHz Kryo 360 + Hexa 1.7GHz Kryo 360 CPUs) with Adreno 616 GPU. It packs 6GB LPDDR4x RAM with 64GB / 128GB (UFS 2.1) storage / 8GB RAM with 256GB storage (Meitu Edition), and you can expand storage up to 256GB with microSD card via Hybrid slot. It runs on Android 9 Pie OS with MIUI 10.

  The Mi CC9 features a triple rear camera setup, it has a 48MP Sony IMX586 primary rear camera rear camera with 0.8μm pixel size, f/1.79 aperture, EIS, a 8MP 118° ultra-wide angle lens with 1.12μm pixel size, f/2.2 aperture, and a 2MP depth sensor with 1.75μm pixel size, f/2.4 aperture and LED flash. You will get a 32MP front-facing camera with f/2.0 aperture.

  The Mi CC9 features a In-Display fingerprint sensor and it also supports face unlock. It has Dual 4G VoLTE, WiFi 802.11ac dual-band, Bluetooth 5, GPS /GLONASS / Beidou and NFC connectivity. It has a USB Type-C port and 3.5mm audio jack. It houses a 4030mAh battery and it supports Qualcomm Quick Charge 4. You will get a 18W fast charger in the box.

Price and Availability:

  The Xiaomi Mi CC9 is priced at 1799 yuan (Rs. 18,033 approx.) for the 6GB RAM with 64GB storage version and the 6GB RAM with 128GB storage version costs 1999 yuan (Rs. 20,038 approx.). The Mi CC9 Meitu Edition with 8GB RAM with 256GB storage is priced at 2599 yuan (Rs. 26,056 approx.) in China. Both these smartphones will be available in China from July 5th.
