Honor 8S with MediaTek Helio A22, 5.71-inch HD+ Display, Android 9 Pie OS launched

  HUAWEI’s HONOR Brand has launched the HONOR 8S in Russia. It has 5.71-inch (1520 × 720 pixels) HD+ 19:9 curved glass display. It has dedicated dual sim card slot and a dedicated microSD card slot. It comes with polycarbonate back panel.


  The Honor 8S is powered by the 2GHz Quad-Core MediaTek Helio A22 12nm processor with IMG PowerVR GE-class GPU. It packs 2GB of RAM and 32GB internal storage, expandable memory up to 512GB with microSD. It runs on Android 9.0 (Pie) with EMUI 9.0 on top.

  The Honor 8S has a 13MP rear camera with f/1.8 aperture and LED Flash. It comes with a 5MP front-facing camera. It does support face unlock, and there is no fingerprint sensor. It has Dual 4G VoLTE, Wi-Fi 802.11 b/g/n, Bluetooth 4.2, GPS + GLONASS connectivity. It has a microUSB port and 3.5mm audio jack. It packs a 3020mAh battery.

  The Honor 8S is priced at 8490 Rubles (US$ 130 / Rs. 9,190 approx.) in Russia. Now it is available for Russia. It should roll out in other markets soon.
