Sony α6400 camera launched in India, price starts at Rs. 75,990



  Sony has launched the Sony α6400 (Model ILCE-6400) mirrorless camera in India. It has 24.2-megapixel Exmor CMOS sensor. It comes with world’s fastest 0.02 second auto focus, new advanced Real-time Eye AF and Real-time Tracking capabilities. It features 425 phase-detection AF points. The company claims it comes with fast internal processing and high-capacity buffer memory, it can click photos at up to 11fps with after-view or 8fps for live-view, with minimal display lag, and take up to around 116 shots in JPEG (Standard) or 46 shots in compressed RAW format in one continuous burst.


  The Sony α6400 is paired with an upgraded BIONZ X processor. It features real time Eye AF, it can recognise human faces and focus preciously on a person's Eyes. This camera comes with subject recognition algorithm process, it will analyse the subject distance, pattern and face and eye information at high speed in real team. The native ISO sensitivity has increased to a maximum of ISO 32000 (with expanded ISO sensitivity at a maximum ISO 102400 for stills). Noise reduction is particularly effective in the medium-to-high sensitivity range.

  The new model includes an HLG (Hybrid Log-Gamma) picture profile, it enables high-resolution 4K movie recording to HDR (HLG) and S-Log/S-Gamut options and Slow and Quick Motion recording. The Sony α6400 camera can record Full HD at 120 fps. It packs a 3-inch LCF flip screen with 921k-dots of resolution and is 180-degree tiltable.

  The Sony α6400 is priced at at Rs. 75,990 for the body, Rs. 85,990 with SELP1650 16-50mm F3.5 – 5.6 lenses and Rs. 1,09,990 with SEL18135 18-135mm F3.5 – 5.6 lenses.
