Samsung Galaxy Active2 rugged Tablet PC launched

  Samsung has launched Galaxy Tab Active2 in India. It is MIL-STD-810 certified to survive excessive pressure, temperatures, environments, vibration and drops. It comes with 1.2m anti-shock inbox protective cover. It is IP68 certified for water and dust resistance, and it will deliver better display touch mode for gloved and wet touch.


  The Samsung Galaxy Active 2 sports a 8.0-inch (1280 x 800 pixels) WXGA TFT display. It comes in both WiFi and 4G versions. It is powered by the 1.8GHz Octa-core Samsung Exynos 7870 processor with Mali T830 GPU. It packs 3GB RAM and 16GB internal memory, you can expand memory up to 256GB with microSD card. It runs on Android 7.1 (Nougat) OS.

  The Galaxy Active 2 comes with a biometric authentication including a new fingerprint scanner offering improved security authentication and facial recognition for convenient hands-free access. It also supports S Pen stylus. It comes with a 8MP auto focus rear camera with LED flash, and it has a 5MP front-facing camera.

  The Galaxy Active 2 has 4G LTE, Wi-Fi 802.11 ac (2.4GHz+5GHz), Bluetooth 4.2, GPS / GLONASS, NFC connectivity. It has USB 2.0 Type-C port and 3.5mm audio jack. It has Accelerometer Sensor, Gyro Sensor, Geomagnetic Sensor, Hall Sensor, RGB Light Sensor, Proximity Sensor. It packs a 4450mAh battery.

  The Samsung Galaxy Tab Active2 is priced at Rs. 50,990 in India, and it will be available in India from mid-March.
