Samsung Galaxy S10 5G with Quad rear camera setup, In-Display fingerprint sensor launched

  Along with Galaxy S10, Galaxy S10+ and S10e smartphones Samsung has launched the Galaxy S10 5G smartphone at it's San Francisco event. It sports a 6.7-inch Quad HD+ (3040 × 1440 pixels) Curved Dynamic AMOLED display with 505ppi, and it has Corning Gorilla Glass 6 protection. This display supports HDR10+. It has nano sim card slot. Like other new Galaxy S10 series smartphones it is also IP68 certified for water and dust resistance. It also following same design.


  The Galaxy S10 5G is powered by the Octa-Core Qualcomm Snapdragon 855 7nm Mobile Platform with Adreno 640 GPU. It packs 8GB LPDDR4x RAM and 512GB internal storage (UFS 2.1). It runs on Android 9.0 Pie OS out of the box.

  The Galaxy S10 5G variant comes with quad rear camera setup, it has 12MP Dual Pixel rear camera with f/2.4-f/1.5 variable aperture, OIS, it features 12MP Telephoto lens with 45° FoV, f/2.4 aperture, there is a 16MP 123° Ultra Wide sensor with f/2.2 aperture with 0.5X/2X optical zoom, up to 10X digital zoom, and it has a 3D Depth sensor. The rear camera can record 4K videos, HDR videos, and it also supports super slow motion video recording. It has a 10MP Dual Pixel primary front-facing camera with 80° wide-angle lens, f/1.9 aperture, and it features 3D Depth sensor. It supports face unlock.

  The Galaxy S10 comes with a In-Display Ultrasonic Fingerprint Scanner that reads the 3D contours of user’s physical thumbprint for improved anti-spoofing. It has 5G Sub6 / mmWave (28G, 39G), 4G VoLTE, Wi-Fi 802.11ax (2.4/5GHz), VHT80 4×4 MIMO, Bluetooth 5, GPS with GLONASS, NFC, MST connectivity. It has USB Type-C port and 3.5mm audio jack. It comes with Stereo speakers tuned by AKG and it supports Dolby Atmos audio. It packs 4500mAh battery and it supports fast Charging both on wired and wireless (WPC and PMA) charging. Most importantly, this smartphone supports Wireless PowerShare, that means now you can charge any wireless charging supported devices with Galaxy S10 5G smartphone.

  Samsung didn't revaild the price, but it will be available available through Verizon Wireless exclusively for a limited time in the first half of 2019 and will go on sale through AT&T, Spectrum Mobile, Sprint, T-Mobile and Xfinity Mobile later in summer.
