LG V50 ThinQ 5G smartphone with Snapdragon 855 SoC, Android 9 Pie OS, triple rear cameras announced



  LG has introduced the LG V50 ThinQ smartphone at MWC 2019, this is the company’s first 5G smartphone. It sports a 6.4-inch (3120 x 1440 pixels) 19.5:9 FullVision OLED Display. LG also introduced a new Dual Screen accessory for the phone to add a second 6.2-inch OLED (2160 x 1080 pixels) FHD+ display for better gaming and multitasking experience. It can be tilted to 104 and 180 degrees. It connects via Pogo Pin so it uses the phone’s power to run. the Dual Screen feature can be used as a dedicated controller. The LG V50 ThinQ support dual sim. It is IP68 rated for dust and water resistance, meets MIL-STD 810G requirements.

  The LG V50 ThinQ is powered by the Octa-Core Qualcomm Snapdragon 855 7nm Mobile Platform with Adreno 640 GPU with Snapdragon X50 5G Modem. The company said that it has a new Vapor Chamber heat-dissipation system that efficiently keeps the internal temperatures low. It packs a 6GB LPDDR4x RAM and 128GB (UFS 2.1) storage, you can expand memory up to 2TB with microSD card. It runs on Android Android 9 Pie OS.

  The LG V50 ThinQ features triple rear cameras, it has 12MP rear camera with f/1.5 aperture, 1.4µm pixel size, 78° lens, there is a 16MP super wide camera with f/1.9 aperture, 1.0µm pixel size, 107° lens, and it has a 12MP telephoto camera with f/2.4 aperture, 1.0µm pixel size, 45° lens and LED flash. The LG V50 ThinQ comes dual front-facing camera, it has a 8MP primary front-facing camera with f/1.8 aperture, 1.22μm pixel size, 80° lens, and it has a 5MP secondary front-facing camera with f/2.2 aperture, 1.12μm pixel size and 90˚ lens. It supports face unlock.

  The LG V50 ThinQ comes with a rear mounted fingerprint sensor. It has 5G, 4G VoLTE, Wi-Fi 802.11 ac (2.4GHz and 5GHz), Bluetooth 5 LE, GPS and NFC connectivity. It has a USB Type-C 2.0 (3.1 compatible) port and 3.5mm audio jack. It comes with Boombox Speaker with stereo output. It has 32-bit Advanced Hi-Fi Quad DAC and supports DTS: X 3D Surround Sound. The LG V50 ThinQ packs a 4,000mAh battery and it supports Qualcomm Quick Charge 3.0.
