Samsung Galaxy Watch Active with MIL-STD 810G grade durability launched



  Samsung Watch Active has been launched. It sports a 1.1-inch (360 x 360) Full Color AOD with Corning Gorilla Glass 3 protection. It comes with 20mm strap. It comes in Silver, Black, Rose Gold, Sea Green colours. It is water and dust resistant (5ATM + IP68), and it has MIL-STD 810G military-grade durability. It is powered by the 1.15 GHz dual-core Exynos 9110 processor. It packs 768MB RAM and 4GB Internal Memory.


  It runs on Tizen-based Wearable OS 4.0, It is compatible with Android 5.0 or above with more than 1.5GB RAM and iPhone 5 and iOS 9.0 or above. It also supports Bixby voice assistant, it allow you to make calls or send messages without ever picking up your phone. It packs a 230mAh battery, it supports wireless charging.

  The Company said that it has auto-detecting, So it can track your activity when you run, bike, row, use the elliptical trainer, or start a dynamic workout. You can manually engage in more than 39 activities, set daily goals and monitor your progress.

  Most importantly, the Galaxy Watch Active can monitor blood pressure, for this feature users have to download My BP Lab app which will be available starting March 15th. Samsung said that MY BP Lab research app is jointly developed with the University of California, San Francisco (UCSF), directly to Galaxy Watch Active to monitor blood pressure and keep better track of their physical health every day.

  The Samsung Galaxy Watch Active is priced at $199.99 (Rs. 14,200 approx.) US. Now it is available for pre-order, It will be available in the US and several countries starting March 8, 2019. Consumers who pre-order Galaxy Watch Active will receive a free Wireless Charging Pad.
