Xiaomi Redmi Note 7 with 48MP rear camera, 4000mAh battery launched in China

  Xiaomi just announced Redmi Note 7, the company’s latest mid-range smartphone under the new ‘Redmi by Xiaomi’ brand in China. The Redmi Note 7 packs a 6.3-inch (2340 ×1080 pixels) Full HD+ 19:5:9 2.5D curved glass display with 1500:1 contrast ratio, 450 nits brightness, 84% NTSC Color Gamut, and it comes with Corning Gorilla Glass 5 protection. It has Hybrid dual sim card slot and it can support dual 4G VoLTE connectivity. It has a glass back with gradient design.


  The Xiaomi Redmi Note 7 is powered by the Octa Core Snapdragon 660 14nm Mobile Platform (Quad 2.2GHz Kryo 260 + Quad 1.8GHz Kryo 260 CPUs) with Adreno 512 GPU. It packs 3GB LPDDR4x RAM with 32GB storage, 4GB / 6GB LPDDR4x RAM with 64GB storage. You can expand memory up to 256GB with microSD card via Hybrid slot. It runs on Android 9.0 (Pie) with MIUI 10.

  The Redmi Note 7 comes with dual rear camera setup, it has a 48MP primary rear camera with f/1.8 aperture, PDAF, EIS, and it has a 5MP secondary rear camera with LED LED flash. It comes with a 13MP front-facing camera. It can support face unlock.


  The Redmi Note 7 comes with a rear mounted fingerprint sensor. It has Dual 4G VoLTE, Wi-Fi 802.11 ac (2.4 /5GHz) Bluetooth 5, GPS + GLONASS connectivity. It has a USB Type-C port and 3.5mm audio jack. It comes with  AK 98937 Smart PA. It packs a 4000mAh battery, it can support Quick Charge 4.

  The Xiaomi Redmi Note 7 is priced at 999 yuan (US$ 147 / ₹ 10,385 approx.) for the 3GB RAM with 32GB storage version, the 4GB RAM with 64GB storage version costs 1199 yuan (US$ 176 / ₹ 12,465 approx.) and the high-end 6GB RAM with 64GB storage version costs 1399 yuan (US$ 205 / ₹ 14,545 approx.) in China. Right now it is available for order in China and goes on sale from January 15th. The company is providing 18 months warranty instead of regular 12 months.
