HP Spectre X360 15, OMEN Gaming laptop and Chromebook 14 announced
HP has announced the HP Spectre x360 15 convertible laptop, HP Omen 15 Gaming laptop and Hp Chromebook 14 at CES 2019. The company didn't revaild the price, the HP Spectre x360 is expected to go on sale in March. The HP Omen 15 with the regular display is set to be launched in February at a price of $1,370, while the 240Hz refresh rate display variant is expected to come in July, although the price of that variant hasn't been shared.
The HP Spector X360 15 packs a 15-inch AMOLED display. It comes with top-end specifications, it is powered by the 8th-generation Intel Core i7 processor, 16GB of RAM, and 512GB of SSD storage. A key advantage of OLED screens is improved colours and battery life, along with better black levels.
The OMEN 15 notebooks are powered by the Intel’s six-core Core i7-8750H processor and NVIDIA’s GeForce GTX 1070 Max-Q GPU. It packs 16GB DDR4 RAM and 128GB M.2 SSD + 1TB 7200 RPM HDD. The HP OMEN 15 gaming laptop comes with NVIDIA’s next-generation GeForce GPUs. It packs a 240Hz refresh rate display, and it has got new WiFi 6 (802.11ax) controller.
The HP Chromebook 14 sports a 14-inch HD (1366 × 768 pixels) SVA display panel with anti-glare coating. It is powered by the AMD’s A4-9120C processor running at 1.8 GHz and the GCN 1.2-based Radeon R4 iGPU with 128 SPs operating at 720 MHz. It has It packs 4GB of DDR4 RAM and 32GB of local eMMC storage. In terms of connectivity, it has Qualcomm 802.11ac Wi-Fi with Bluetooth 4.2 controller, two USB 3.1 Gen 1 Type-C ports, two USB 2.0 Type-A ports, a microSD card reader.
The Chromebook 14 comes with a dual microphone array. It has B&O-badged speakers, and it has a webcam. The company says that it can last up to 9 hours and 15 minutes on a single charge.
