BenQ CinePrime W2700 and W5700 projectors launched

  BenQ has launched the CinePrime W5700 and W2700 DLP projectors. Both CinePrime models deliver true 4K performance with 3840×2160 resolution and 8.3 million distinct pixels for each frame. There is a pristine 4K-optimised optical system with six structured groups of all-glass lens elements for light transmission. These two projectors also support DCI-P3 colour standard.


  The company said that the CinematicColor™ technology utilizes optimal colors to bring out accurate and enhanced images. CinematicColor’s super wide DCI-P3 color space (covering far greater visible spectrum than Rec. 709), high native ANSI contrast ratio and ISFccc certified calibration ensure incredible image performances and deliver detailed, sharp and crisp visuals to accompany your pro cinema enjoyment.

  The BenQ CinePrime W2700 is designed to cover 94 percent of DCI-P3 and 100 percent of Rec. 709, while the CinePrime W5700 is touted to cover 100 percent coverage of the DCI-P3 colour space and 100 percent of Rec. 709.

  These two comes with HDR PRO technology, and also enables auto colour and tone mapping techniques. The company said that the HDR-PRO technology offers greater contrast range to bring out every detail from 4K Blu-rays as well as streaming content for unparalleled cinematic enjoyment.

  BenQ brings the CinemaMaster Audio+ 2 technology, it provides exclusive EQ algorithms for pure clarity and sensual sound quality as used by Hollywood studios.

  The BenQ W2700 is priced at Rs 2.49 lakhs and the BenQ W5700 is priced at Rs. 2.99 lakhs. The BenQ W2700 is now available, but the BenQ W5700 will be available in the coming months.
