HTC U19e with Dual rear camera setup, Snapdragon 710 SoC, Android 9 pie OS launched
HTC has launched the HTC U19e smartphone in Taiwan. It has a 6-inch (2160 x 1080 pixels) Full HD+ 18:9 IPS 2.5D curved glass display with Corning Gorilla Glass protection. The phone has a metal frame and the purple version has a translucent back. It comes with a Hybrid dual SIM card slot.
The HTC U19e is powered by the Octa Core Snapdragon 710 10nm Mobile Platform (Dual 2.2GHz Kryo 360 + Hexa 1.7GHz Kryo 360 CPUs) with Adreno 616 GPU. It packs 6GB LPDDR4x RAM with 128GB internal storage, and you can expand memory up to 2TB with microSD card via Hybrid slot. It runs on Android 9.0 Pie with HTC Sense UI.
The HTC U19e features a dual rear camera setup, it has a 12MP primary rear camera with f/1.8 aperture, PDAF, EIS, and a 20MP secondary telephoto lens with f/2.6 aperture, 2x optical zoom, 10x digital zoom and Dual LED flash. It comes with a 24MP front-facing camera with f/2.0 aperture and a 2MP secondary camera, the company said that the secondary front-facing camera is present for Iris recognition unlock.
The HTC U19e comes with a rear mounted fingerprint sensor. It has Dual 4G VoLTE, Wi-Fi 802.11ac (2.4 / 5GHz), Bluetooth 5, GPS + GLONASS and NFC connectivity. It has a USB Type-C port and there is no 3.5mm audio jack. It features HTC BoomSound Hi-Fi dual speakers. It houses a 3930mAh battery and it supports Qualcomm Quick Charge 4.

The HTC U19e is priced at NT $14,900 (US$ 474 / Rs. 32,950 approx.) and will be available in Taiwan from tomorrow, June 12th.
