Samsung Galaxy M40 with triple rear camera setup, Snapdragon 675 SoC, 6GB RAM launched in India



  Samsung has launched the Galaxy M40 smartphone in India. It sports a 6.3-inch (2340 x 1080 pixels) Full HD+ Infinity-O LCD display with Corning Gorilla Glass 3 protection. It has polycarbonate body. It comes with Hybrid dual SIM card slot.


  The Galaxy M40 is powered by the 2GHz Octa-Core Snapdragon 675 Mobile Platform with Adreno 612 GPU. It packs 6GB RAM with 128GB internal storage, and you can expand up to 512GB with microSD card via Hybrid slot. It runs on Android 9.0 Pie OS with Samsung One UI on top.


  The Galaxy M40 features a triple rear camera setup, it has a 32MP primary rear camera with with f/1.7 aperture, a 5MP depth sensor with f/2.2 aperture, and a 8MP 123° ultra-wide angle camera with f/2.2 aperture and LED flash. The Rear camera setup can record videos at 4K@30fps. It comes with a 16MP front-facing camera with f/2.0 aperture. The front-facing camera do support 1080p@30fps video recording. It supports face unlock.


  The Galaxy M40 comes with a rear mounted fingerprint sensor. It has Dual 4G VoLTE, Wi-Fi 802.11 ac (2.4GHz + 5GHz), Bluetooth 5, GPS + GLONASS connectivity. It has a USB Type-C port. Sadly, Samsung has removed the 3.5mm audio jack. However you will find a USB Type-C headphones in the box. The Galaxy M40 houses a 3500mAh battery and it supports fast changing, you will get a 15W fast charger in the box.
