Huawei Nova 5i with Quad Rear camera setup, up to 8GB RAM, 4000mAh battery launched

  Along with the Nova 5 and the Nova 5 Pro, HUAWEI also launched the Nova 5i smartphone in China. It supports a 6.4-inch (2340 × 1080 pixels) Full HD+ 19:5:9 2.5D curved glass IPS LCD screen with DCI-P3 color gamut. It comes with a hole punch design. It has a gradient back with S shaped curve. It comes with a Hybrid dual SIM card slot.


  The Nova 5i is powered by the Octa-Core Kirin 710 12nm (4 x 2.2GHz Cortex-A73 +4 x 1.7GHz Cortex-A53) with ARM Mali-G51 MP4 GPU. It packs 6GB / 8GB RAM with 128GB internal storage, and you can expand storage up to 512GB with microSD card. It runs on Android 9.0 (Pie) with EMUI 9.1.

  The Huawei Nova 5i also features quad rear camera setup, it has a 24MP primary rear camera with f/1.8 aperture, PDAF, CAF, a 8MP ultra wide sensor, a 2MP for 4cm macro, and a 2MP depth sensor with LED flash. It comes with a 24MP front-facing camera with 1/2.8″ sensor, f/2.0 aperture and 0.9μm pixel size. It supports face unlock.

  The Huawei Nova 5i has a rear-mounted fingerprint sensor. It has Dual 4G VoLTE, Wi-Fi 802.11 ac (2.4GHz / 5GHz), Bluetooth 5, GPS + GLONASS connectivity. It has a microUSB port and 3.5mm audio jack. It houses a 4000mAh battery.

  The Huawei Nova 5i is priced at 1999 yuan (US$ 290 / Rs. 20,230 approx.) for the 6GB RAM with 128GB storage version and the 8GB RAM with 128GB storage version costs 2199 yuan (US$ 319 / Rs. 22,250 approx.). Now it is available for pre-order and goes on sale in China from June 28th.
