Redmi Go Android Go Edition smartphone launched in India

  Xiaomi Redmi Go smartphone has been launched in India. It supports a 5-inch (1280 x 720pixels) HD 16:9 display with 380 nits brightness and 1000:1 contrast ratio. It has dedicated dual sim and a dedicated microSD card slots.


  The Redmi Go is powered by the 1.4GHz Quad-Core Snapdragon 425 Mobile Platform with Adreno 308 GPU. It packs 1GB RAM and 8GB internal storage, you can expand memory up to 128GB with microSD card via dedicated microSD card slot. It runs on Android 8.1 (Oreo Go Edition) OS.

  The Redmi Go comes with a 8MP rear camera with f/2.0 aperture, 1.12μm pixel size and LED flash. It can record 1080p videos. It has a 5MP front-facing camera with f/2.2 aperture, 1.12μm pixel size, auto HDR option. It doesn't support face unlock, and there is no fingerprint sensor.

  The Redmi Go has 4G VoLTE, WiFi 802.11 b/g/n, Bluetooth 4.1, GPS connectivity. It has a microUSB port and 3.5mm audio jack. It packs 3000mAh battery.

  The Redmi Go is priced at Rs. 4,499 in India and will go on sale starting March 22nd on Flipkart, Mi.com and Mi Home Stores. It comes with Rs. 2200 cashback in the form of vouchers and 100GB data for Jio users.
