MediaPad M5 Lite with 8-inch FHD display, Kirin 710 SoC, Android 9 Pie OS launched
Huawei has launched the MediaPad M5 Lite 8″ tablet PC in China. It is available in two variants- one with Only Wi-Fi and second one supports 4G LTE and Wi-Fi. It supports a 8-inch (1200×1920) Full HD 2.5D curved glass display.
The MediaPad M5 Lite is powered by the Octa-Core Kirin 710 12nm (4 x 2.2GHz Cortex-A73 +4 x 1.7GHz Cortex-A53) with ARM Mali-G51 MP4 GPU. It packs 3GB RAM with 32GB storage / 4GB RAM with 64GB storage, you can expand memory up to 512GB with microSD card. It runs on Android 9.0 (Pie) with EMUI 9.0 on the top.
It comes with a 13MP auto focus rear camera with f/2.2 aperture, and it has a 8MP front-facing camera with f/2.0 aperture. It has a Dual speaker, Huawei Histen sound support and is Harman Kardon audio certified. Sadly, there is no fingerprint sensor.
It has 4G LTE (Optional), Wi-Fi 802.11 ac (2.4/5GHz), Bluetooth 4.2 LE, GPS connectivity. It has microUSB port and 3.5mm audio jack. It packs a 5000mAh battery.

The MediaPad M5 Lite 8″ WiFi 3GB + 32GB version is priced at 1199 yuan (US$ 178 / Rs. 12,300 approx.), the WiFi + 4GB + 64GB version costs 1399 yuan (US$ 208 / Rs. 14,355 approx.), the WiFi + 4G 3GB + 32GB is priced at 1499 yuan (US$ 223 / Rs. 15,380 approx.), and the high-end MediaPad M5 Lite 8″ WiFi + 4G LTE + 4GB RAM + 64GB internal storage costs 1599 yuan (US$ 238 / Rs. 16,405 approx.) in China.
