Xiaomi Mi Play with MediaTek Helio P35, 4GB RAM, dual rear camera setup launched



  Xiaomi has launched the Mi Play smartphone in China, this the company’s latest smartphone in the new Play series. The Mi Play has a 5.84-inch (2280×1080 pixels) Full HD+ 19:9 2.5D curved glass display with 1500:1 contrast ratio, it comes with Corning Gorilla Glass 5 protection. It has a glossy glass-like finish on the back with gradiant finish in some colors. It has dedicated dual sim card slot and dedicated microSD card slot.


  The Mi Play is powered by the 2.3GHz Octa-Core (ARM Cortex A53) MediaTek Helio P35 12nm Processor with 680 MHz IMG PowerVR GE8320 GPU. It has 4GB LPDDR4x RAM, 64GB (eMMC 5.1) storage, expandable memory up to 256GB with microSD card. It runs on Android 8.1 (Oreo) with MIUI 10.


  The Mi Play comes with dual rear camera setup, it has a 12MP primary rear camera with LED Flash, f/2.2 aperture, 1.25μm pixel size, PDAF, EIS, and it has a 2MP secondary rear camera. It comes with 8MP front-facing camera. It can support face unlock.

  The Mi Play comes with a rear mounted fingerprint sensor. It has Dual 4G VoLTE, Wi-Fi 802.11 ac(2.4 /5GHz) Bluetooth 4.2, GPS + GLONASS connectivity. It has a USB Type-C port. Sensors on board include an accelerometer, ambient light, geomagnetic, and gyroscope. It packs a 3000mAh battery.
