Lenovo Z5 Pro GT with Snapdragon 855 SoC, dual front-facing camera launched in China

  Lenovo has launched the Lenovo Z5 Pro GT smartphone in China, this is the latest flagship smartphone from Lenovo. The Lenovo Z5 Pro GT packs a 6.39-inch ( 1080 × 2340 pixels) Full HD+ Super AMOLED 19.5:9 aspect ratio display with Corning Gorilla Glass protection, the company said that it comes with 2.07mm ultra narrow bezels and 95.06% screen-to-body ratio. It also comes with Carbon Back with carbon fiber finish under the glass with Red and Black accents on the sides.


  It comes with slider design that hides the 16-megapixel front camera, earpiece and 8-megapixel IR face unlock. The sliding structure uses six parallel slides, double-helical structure, and AI smart antennas. It can support dual sim. The smartphone will be available in a Carbon Black colour option with carbon fibre finish on top.


  The Lenovo Z5 Pro GT is powered by the Octa-Core Snapdragon 855 7nm Mobile Platform (1 x 2.84GHz Kryo 485 + 3 x 2.42GHz Kryo 485 + 4x 1.80GHz Kryo 485) with Adreno 640 GPU. It has 6GB LPDDR4x / 8GB RAM with 128GB internal memory, 8GB RAM with 256GB internal memory, 12GB RAM with 512GB internal memory. It runs on Android 8.1 (Oreo) with ZUI 10, the company said that it will get Android 9.0 (Pie) update.

  The Lenovo Z5 Pro GT comes with dual rear and front-facing cameras. It has 16MP primary rear camera with Sony IMX519 sensor, f/1.8 aperture, and it has a secondary 24MP camera with Sony IMX576 sensor, f/1.8 aperture and Dual-tone LED flash. It comes with a 16MP front-facing sensor with an f/2.2 aperture and a secondary 8MP IR sensor to enable the Face Unlock functionality.


  The Lenovo Z5 Pro GT comes with a In-Display fingerprint sensor. It has Dual 4G VoLTE, Wi-Fi 802.11 ac (2.4GHz + 5GHz), Bluetooth 5, GPS + GLONASS and NFC connectivity. It has USB Type-C port, sadly there is no 3.5mm audio jack. It can support Dolby Atmos audio. It packs a 3350mAh battery and it can support fast charging. Sensors on board include an ambient light sensor, hall sensor, electronic compass, gravity sensor, gyroscope, and a proximity sensor.

  Lenovo Z5 Pro GT 6GB RAM with 128GB storage version costs 2698 yuan (Rs. 27,475 approx.), 8GB RAM with 128GB storage version costs 2998 yuan (Rs. 30,530 approx.), 8GB RAM with 256GB storage version costs 3398 yuan (Rs. 34,575 approx.) and the top-end 12GB RAM with 512GB storage version costs 4398 yuan (Rs. 44,750 approx.) in China. It will be available for order in China from January 15th and will go on sale from January 24th.
