OnePlus 6T McLaren edition with 10GB RAM, Finer glass back launched in India



  OnePlus has launched the OnePlus 6T McLaren Edition in India. It packs a 6.41-inch (2340 × 1080 pixels) Full HD+ 19.5:9 aspect ratio Optic AMOLED display with 100.63% sRGB color gamut, DCI-P3 color gamut, over 600 nits brightness, and it has Corning Gorilla Glass 6 protection. It comes with Papaya Orange finish that races around the bottom edge of the device. The pattern underneath the glass back of the phone is based on McLaren’s groundbreaking carbon fiber. Light streaks across the McLaren logo, illuminating and disappearing in an instant. OnePlus says that over six F1 cars’ worth of carbon fiber were used in the production of the Speedmarks. The phone has exclusive software animations, tuned to McLaren’s unique style and history. It has dual nano sim card slot. The OnePlus 6T McLaren edition smartphone is water resistant, it is not going to survive under the water for long time.


  The OnePlus 6T McLaren edition is powered by the 2.8GHz Octa-Core Qualcomm Snapdragon 845 10nm Mobile Platform with Adreno 630 GPU. It has 10GB LPDDR4X RAM with 256GB (UFS 2.1) storage, no option for expanding storage. It runs on Android 9.0 (Pie) with OxygenOS 9.0.

  The OnePlus 6T McLaren comes with dual rear camera setup, it has a 16MP primary rear camera with f/1.7 aperture, 1/2.6″ Sony IMX519 sensor, 1.22μm pixel size, OIS, EIS, and it has a secondary 20MP camera with Sony IMX376K sensor, f/1.7 aperture, 1.0μm pixel size and dual tone LED flash. The rear camera can record 1080p @240fps and 4k @60 fps and 480 fps slo-mo at 720p videos. It comes with 16MP front-facing camera with Sony IMX 371 sensor, f/2.0 aperture & 1.0μm pixel size. It can support face unlock.

   The OnePlus 6T McLaren edition comes with In-Display fingerprint sensor. It has 4G VoLTE, WiFi 802.11 ac (2.4GHz + 5GHz), Bluetooth 5, GPS + GLONASS connectivity. It has a USB Type-C port, but it it doesn’t have a 3.5mm audio jack, so you have to rely on the bundled USB Type-C to 3.5mm adapter, USB Type-C  headphones or Bluetooth headphones. It comes with Bottom-facing speaker and Dirac HD Sound.

  The OnePlus 6T McLaren edition packs a 3700mAh battery. It comes with 30 watt Warp Charge 30, OnePlus’ new charging standard that promises 50% charge in just 20 minutes of charge for a day’s use. That company has used new Integrated Circuits in both the charger and the phone, as well as finely tuned power management software without generating excessive heat.

   The OnePlus 6T McLaren Edition with 10GB RAM, 256GB storage is priced at Rs. 50,999 in India. It will be available exclusively from Amazon.in and OnePlus India store starting from December 15th. It will also be available for offline purchase from OnePlus exclusive offline stores in key cities. The OnePlus 6T McLaren Edition will also be sold exclusively in a special sale on December 13 at the OnePlus Experience Store in Connaught Place, New Delhi, due to open on the day.
