Honor V20 with up to 8GB RAM, Kirin 980 SoC launched
Huawei’s Honor brand has launched the Honor V20 in China, this the company’s latest top-end smartphone in the ‘V series’. The Honor has a 6.4-inch Full HD+ screen with 91.82% screen-to-body ratio. It has a V-shaped texture on the glass back and it has a metal frame. It can support dual sim.
The Honor V20 is powered by the HUAWEI Kirin 980 (2 x Cortex A76 2.6 GHz + 2 x Cortex A76 1.92 GHz + 4 x Cortex A55 1.8 GHz) processor with 720 MHz ARM Mali-G76MP10 GPU. It has 6GB / 8GB LPDDR4x RAM with 128GB storage, 8GB LPDDR4x RAM with 256GB storage. It runs on Android 9.0 (Pie) with Magic UI 2.0.
The Honor V20 has a 48MP primary rear camera with f/1.8 aperture, AIS, TOF, there is a 3D secondary camera. The 48MP rear camera uses 4-in-1 light fusion that outputs better low-light images at 12MP resolution and 4-times improved HDR support. The company said that the TOF 3D secondary rear camera lets you play games using 3D gesture recognition by capturing body movements. It comes with a 25MP front camera with f/2.0 aperture. It can support face unlock.
The Honor V20 comes with a rear mounted fingerprint sensor. It has Dual 4G VoLTE, Wi-Fi 802.11 ac (2.4GHz and 5GHz), Bluetooth 5 LE, GPS (L1 + L5 dual band) and NFC connectivity. It has a USB Type-C port and 3.5mm audio jack. It packs a 4000mAh battery, it can support 22.5W (4.5V-5A) fast charging.

The Honor V20 6GB RAM + 128GB storage version is priced at 2999 yuan (US$ 434 / Rs. 30,515 approx.), the 8GB RAM + 128GB storage version costs 3499 yuan (US$ 507 / Rs. 35,600 approx.) and the MOSCHINO Edition in collaboration with Italian fashion brand MOSCHINO with 8GB RAM and 256GB storage costs 3999 yuan (US$ 579 / Rs. 40,690 approx.) in China.
