Samsung Galaxy A8s with Infinity-O display, Snapdragon 710 SoC launched in China, priced at 2,999 yuan

  Samsung has finally revealed the pricing for the A8s as 2,999 yuan (US$ 434 / Rs. 30,460 approx.) for the 6GB RAM + 128GB storage version. It is available for order from today in China and ships from December 31st.


   The Galaxy A8s packs a 6.4-inch (2340 x 1080 pixels) Full HD+ 19:5:9 2.5D curved glass display. The company calls it Infinity-O display that has a small cut out, which is said to be 6.7mm, compared to 4.5mm that Honor claims in V20. This is the first smartphone which has a In-Display camera. It can support dual sim.

  The Galaxy A8s is powered by the Octa Core Snapdragon 710 10nm Mobile Platform (Dual 2.2GHz Kryo 360 + Hexa 1.7GHz Kryo 360 CPUs) with Adreno 616 GPU. It has 6GB / 8GB RAM, 128 GB Storage, you can expand storage up to 512GB via micro SD card. It runs on Android 8.1 (Oreo) OS.

  The Galaxy A8s comes with triple rear cameras, it has 24MP primary rear camera with f/1.7 aperture, 10MP telephoto lens with f/2.4 aperture and 5MP f/2.2 depth camera with LED flash. It has a 24MP front camera with f/2.0 aperture. It can support face unlock.

  The Galaxy A8s comes with a rear mounted fingerprint sensor. It has Dual 4G VoLTE, Wi-Fi 802.11ac (2.4/5GHz), VHT80, Bluetooth v5, GPS + GLONASS and NFC connectivity. It has a USB Type-C port. It packs a 3400mAh battery with adaptive fast charging.
