Vivo NEX with In-Display fingerprint, pop-up front-facing camera launched in India

  Vivo has launched the Vivo NEX smartphone in India, this smartphone was launched as a NEX S in China. The NEX packs a comes with a 6.59-inch (2316×1080 pixels) Full HD+ Super AMOLED 19.3:9 aspect ratio display ultra narrow 1.71 mm bezels on the sides, 2.16mm on the top. It has Dual nano sim card slot.


  The Vivo NEX is powered by the 2.8GHz Octa-Core Snapdragon 845 64-bit 10nm Mobile Platform with Adreno 630 GPU. It has 8GB RAM with 128GB internal storage, there is no option for storage expand. This smartphone is running on Funtouch OS 4.0 based on Android 8.1 (Oreo). It has dedicated AI button, the AI button can be used as a Google Lens, Google Assistant.

  The Vivo NEX smartphone comes with Dual rear camera setup, it has a 12MP Dual PD rear camera with dual-tone LED flash, Sony IMX363 sensor, 4-axis OIS, f/1.8 aperture and a secondary 5MP camera with f/2.4 aperture. The rear camera can record 4K videos. It has a 8MP front-facing camera with f/2.0 aperture. The 8MP pop-up front camera that automatically rises and hides when you open and close the camera app. Vivo said, this uses extremely precise micro-stepping motors, with independent drive ICs and precision control algorithms to precisely control this process.

  The Vivo NEX smartphone has a In-Display fingerprint sensor. It has Dual 4G VoLTE, Wi-Fi 802.11 ac (2.4GHz / 5GHz) 2×2 MIMO , Bluetooth 5 LE, GPS + GLONASS connectivity. It has a USB Type-C port, 3.5mm Audio jack and FM radio, it has CS43199 + SSM6322 Amplifier. It packs a 4000mAh battery and it can support fast charging.
