JioPhone 2 launched in India for Rs. 2,999

  Reliance Jio has launched the JioPhone 2 in India. It packs a 2.4-inch (320 x 240 pixels) QVGA display. it also comes with Dual SIM support. It has cat.4 LTE support with download speeds of up to 150Mbps with support both LTE (Band 3,5,40) and 2G (900/1800). It is not clear if this uses the same Snapdragon / Spreadtrum processor, which we should know closer to the sale date.


  The JioPhone 2 has 512MB RAM and 4GB internal storage, you can expand storage with microSD card. This phone is running on KAI OS. It has QWERTY hardware keyboard and 4-way nav bar. The JioPhone 2 has 2MP rear camera and VGA front-facing camera.

  It has 4G VoLTE, WiFi 802.11 b/g/n, Bluetooth 4.1 LE, GPS and NFC connectivity. It has microUSB port, 3.5mm audio jack and FM radio. It packs a 2000mAh battery.

  The JioPhone 2 is priced at Rs. 2999 in India, it will be available starting from August 15th.
