BlackBerry Key 2 with Snapdragon 660 SoC launched in India
BlackBerry Key 2 smartphone has been launched in India. The BlackBerry Key 2 has a 4.5-inch full-HD (1080x1620 pixels) IPS LCD display with 2.5D Corning Gorilla Glass protection, a 3:2 aspect ratio, a pixel density of 433ppi, and 24-bit colour depth. This smartphone has a series 7 aluminum frame, diamond patterned back with soft touch. It has Hybrid dual sim card slot.
The BlackBerry Key 2 is powered by a Octa Core Snapdragon 660 14nm Mobile Platform with Adreno 512 GPU. It has 6GB RAM with 64GB / 128GB internal storage, expandable memory up to 2TB with microSD card via Hybrid slot. It is running on Android 8 Oreo out of the box. It has 4-row Physical QWERTY keyboard with capacitive touch. The fingerprint sensor is built into the spacebar.
The BlackBerry Key 2 sports a horizontal dual camera setup with two 12MP rear sensors that include Dual Tone LED flash, HDR and dual PDAF. The primary sensor has a FoV (Field of View) of 79.3 degrees, 1.28 micron pixels, and an f/1.8 aperture, while the secondary sensor has a 50-degree FoV, 1.0 micron pixels, and f/2.6 aperture. The rear camera can record 4K video at 30fps. You will get a 8MP fixed focus front-facing camera. The front-facing camera can record full HD videos.
The BlackBerry Key 2 has 4G VoLTE, Wi-Fi 802.11 ac (2.4 & 5 GHz), Bluetooth 5 LE, GPS / GLONASS and NFC connectivity. It has a USB Type-C port and a 3.5mm Audio jack. It packs a 3500mAh battery and it can support Qualcomm quick charge 3.0.
