Alcatel 1 Android Go edition smartphone with 5-inch 18:9 aspect ratio display announced

  Alcatel 1 has been announced, it is a Android 8 Oreo Go edition smartphone. It packs a 5-inch (480 x 960 pixels) FWVGA+ 18:9 display. It has dual sim card slot. It can support 4G VoLTE connectivity.


  Alcatel 1 is powered by the 1.28GHz quad-core MediaTek MT6739 64-bit processor with PowerVR Rogue GE8100 GPU. It has 1GB RAM with 8GB internal storage, expandable memory up to 32GB with microSD card. It runs on Android 8.1 Oreo (Go Edition).

  The company is offering Photo Booth, Social Square, Instant Collage and One-Handed Mode features.

  Alcatel 1 has 5MP (interpolated to 8MP) rear camera with LED flash. It has 2MP (interpolated to 5MP) front camera. This smartphone comes without fingerprint sensor. It has 4G VoLTE, WiFi 802.11 b/g/n, Bluetooth 4.2 and GPS connectivity.

  It has microUSB port and 3.5mm Audio jack. It packs a 2000mAh battery. This smartphone comes in Blue, Blue, Rose Gold and Metallic Gold colours.

  The Alcatel 1 is priced at 79 Euros / US$ 89 (Rs. 6,125 approx.) and this smartphone will roll out in select markets from July.
