OnePlus 6 launched in India, price starts at Rs. 34,999

  Today, OnePlus has launched the OnePlus 6 smartphone in India. The OnePlus 6 has a 6.28-inch full HD+ optic AMOLED display with an 19:9 aspect ratio and it has Corning Gorilla Glass 5 protection. For the first time OnePlus has introduced a glass back on its flagship with in the new Mirror Black version that has Corning Gorilla Glass 5 protection. The Midnight Black version is made of glass but features a matte finish, while the Silk White colour option will be released "in a few weeks" as a limited edition handset. This smartphone has a dual nano sim card slot. The OnePlus 6 comes with water resistance body.


  The OnePlus 6 is powered by a 2.8GHz Octa-Core Qualcomm Snapdragon 845 10nm Mobile Platform with Adreno 630 GPU. It has 6GB LPDDR4X RAM with 64GB (UFS 2.1) storage, 8GB LPDDR4X RAM with 128GB (UFS 2.1) / 256GB (UFS 2.1) storage. This smartphone is running on Android 8.1 (Oreo) with OxygenOS 5.1 on top.

  The OnePlus 6 comes with dual rear camera setup, It has a 16-megapixel rear camera with Sony IMX519 sensor, f/1.7 aperture, OIS as well as EIS. The sensor is 19% bigger compared to the predecessor. It has the same 20-megapixel secondary camera with Sony IMX376K sensor and f/1.7 aperture. The rear camera can record 4K videos at up to 60fps. It has 16MP front-facing camera with Sony IMX 371 sensor, f/2.0 aperture and 1.0μm pixel size. Front-facing camera can record full HD videos. Portrait mode will work on front-facing camera.


  OnePlus 6 has a fingerprint sensor and it has also face unlock feature. It has 4G VoLTE, WiFi 802.11 ac (2.4GHz + 5GHz), Bluetooth 5, GPS + GLONASS connectivity. It has USB Type-C port and 3.5mm Audio jack. It packs 3300mAh battery and it can support OnePlus's Dash charging.

  OnePlus 6 is priced at Rs. 34,999 for 6GB RAM with 64GB storage version and the high-end version 8GB RAM with 128GB storage costs Rs. 39,999 in India. This smartphone will be available exclusively on Amazon and the sale starts on 22nd May for everyone, but this smartphone will be available from May 21st for Amazon prime users. The Limited-edition Silk White will be available from June 5th.
