    Google has launched Google pixel 2 smartphone at it's event in San Francisco. This is latest Flagship smartphone from Google. Let's see what we will get in this smartphone.


     Google pixel 2 comes with 5-inch (1920x 1080 pixels) AMOLED display with 95% DCI-P3 coverage, 100000:1 super contrast ratio, and it has 2.5D Corning Gorilla Glass 5 display protection. It has Aluminum unibody with hybrid coating. This smartphone comes with IP67 water and dust resistant body.


    Google pixel 2 is powered by Octa-Core Snapdragon 835 Mobile Platform with Adreno 540 GPU. It has 4GB DDR4X RAM with 64GB / 128GB storage and expandable memory up to 256GB with microSD card. This smartphone is running on latest Android 8.0 (Oreo) Os.

    You will get two Front-facing speakers in this smartphone. Pixel 2 comes with always on display feature. It has Active Edge sensor, With a squeeze, you can launch your Google Assistant for real-time help.


     Google pixel 2 has 12.2MP rear camera with laser + dual pixel phase detection LED flash, OIS, EIS, f/1.8 aperture and 1.4μm pixel size. Rear camera can record 4K videos. It has 8MP front camera with f/2.4 aperture, 1.4μm pixel size. Both rear and front-facing cameras let's you take portrait shots with background blurs and it has new motion photos feature that captures a few seconds of video around the shot.

     Google pixel 2 has Fingerprint sensor at the back side of the phone. It has 4G VoLTE, WiFi 802.11ac 2x2MIMO (2.4/5 GHz), Bluetooth 5 LE, GPS and NFC connectivity. It has USB Type-C port. You will miss 3.5mm Audio jack in this smartphone. This smartphone is packed with 2700mAh built-in Battery and it can support fast charging.

     Google pixel 2 priced at $649 (₹ 42,205 approx.) for the 64GB version and $749 (₹ 48,707 approx.) for the 128GB version in USA. It will first be available in USA, India, Australia, Germany, Canada, UK and will be released in Italy, Singapore and Spain later this year. U.S customers will get Google Home Mini for free bundled.

     This smartphones will be available for pre-order from Flipkart and offline stores from October 26th and goes on sale from November 1st.
