    Xiaomi has launched Redmi 5A in China. This is the latest 4G budget smartphone from Xiaomi. You can see it's looking like Redmi 4A. Let's see what we get in this smartphone.


    Xiaomi Redmi 5A has 5-inch (1280 x 720 pixels) HD IPS display with 1000: 1 contrast ratio. Again no details about display protection. It has Hybrid dual sim card slot (nano + nano/MicroSD).

     Xiaomi Redmi 5A 1.4GHz Quad-Core Snapdragon 425 processor with 500MHz Adreno 308 GPU. I think SD 425 processor is really good processor at this price range. Again you will get 2GB RAM with 16GB internal storage like other budget smartphones from Xiaomi. You can expand memory up to 128GB with microSD card via Hybrid slot. This smartphone is running on Android 7.1 (Nougat) with MIUI 9.

     Xiaomi Redmi 5A has 13MP rear camera with PDAF, LED, f/2.2 aperture and LED flash. Rear camera can record 1080p videos. It has 5MP front-facing camera with f/2.0 aperture.

     Xiaomi Redmi 5A didn't have fingerprint sensor like Redmi 4A. It has Infrared sensor. Redmi 5A has 4G VoLTE, Wi-Fi 802.11 b/g/n, Bluetooth 4.1, GPS and GLONASS connectivity. It has 3.5mm Audio jack and microUSB port. This message is packed with 3000mAh Battery.
