How can I Link my Aadhar card with PAN online ?

  The government passed the Finance Bill 2021 in the Lok Sabha couple of weeks back, where it inserted a new section 234H under which a person shall be liable to pay a late fee of up to Rs 1,000 in case of non-linking of their PAN with Aadhaar. According to this bill a person is required to intimate his Aadhaar number under sub-section (2) of section 139AA and such person fails to do so on or before such date, as may be prescribed, he shall be liable to such fee, as may be prescribed, not exceeding one thousand rupees, at the time of making intimation under sub-section (2) of section 139AA after the said date,”.

  Now, the government has extended the deadline for linking PAN card with the Aadhaar card till June 30. Earlier, the date of linking these two documents was 31st March

How to Link Aadhar with Pan card ?

• Setp 1: Open the Income Tax 
  department’s e-filing portal
• Step 2: Click on the ‘Link Aadhaar’
  option on the left
• Step 3: Now, enter your PAN, 
  Aadhaar number and name as 
  per your Aadhaar card.
• Step 4: If your Aadhaar card contains
  only your year of birth instead of
  the complete date of birth, check
  the box, else leave it unchecked.
• Step 5: Click on the agree checkbox
  to validate your Aadhaar details
  with UIDAI.
• Step 6: Enter the captcha code
  and click on the ‘Link Aadhaar’ 
  button.

  After successfully validating your details with the Unique Identification Authority of India (UIDAI), your PAN-Aadhaar linking will be complete.
