  The FitBit Luxe fitness has been launched in India. The FitBit Luxe fitness band comes in chic stainless steel and silicone design options. The special edition comes with jewellery-like design that looks to make a fashion statement. It has a stainless steel case made using a design process called metal injection moulding to give it a feel of handcrafted jewellery. Fitbit partnered with Laguna Beach-based jewellery brand gorjana to design the Fitbit Luxe Special Edition in two options - Parker Link Bracelet in soft gold stainless steel, and a swimproof classic silicone peony band. The fitness band comes with water resistant for up to 50 metres

  The FitBit Luxe features a colour AMOLED touch display. The fitness band has 24x7 heart rate monitoring, tracks all-day steps, distance and calories burned, menstrual health tracking, as well as detailed sleep monitoring.

  The FitBit Luxe has got Bluetooth 4.2 connectivity, it is compatible with devices running on iOS 13.3 or higher, and Android OS 8.0 or higher.  Users can track their breathing rate, heart rate variability, skin temperature variation, sleep quality and more in Fitbit App. The company said that the FitBit Premium subscription service, Luxe offers extended functionalities such as the FitBit Stress Management Score, which provides a daily assessment of the user’s ability to handle stress based on their activity levels, sleep and heart rate.

  The Fitbit Luxe has got some sensors on board include 3-axis accelerometer, optical heart rate monitor, vibration motor, red and infrared sensors for oxygen saturation (SpO2) monitoring. It can provide call, text, and smartphone notifications, has a DND mode, and offers features like timer and stopwatch.

  The Fitbit Luxe supports 20 exercise modes and also has FitBit’s SmartTrack technology, where the tracker can automatically detect and identify if the user is working out and begin recording the activity. The company claims up to 5 days of battery life, it will take 2 hours to fully charge. The fitness band comes in Soft Gold body with a Lunar White band, Graphite body with Black band, Platinum body with an Orchid band, and a Special Edition gorjana Soft Gold with a Parker Link Bracelet.

Price and Availability

  The Fitbit Luxe with silicon strap is priced at Rs. 10,999 soon. While the gorjana for Fitbit Luxe Special Edition will be priced at Rs. 17,999 in India. Fitbit Premium will be available at Rs. 99/month or Rs. 999/year.
