Huawei starts rolling out EMUI 10 update to Huawei Y9 prime


  HUAWEI launched the Y9 Prime 2019 earlier last year in India. This smartphone shipped with EMUI 9 based on Android 9 Pie. HUAWEI has started rolling out EMUI 10 update for the Y9 Prime 2019 in India. This OTA update is about 3.49 GB in size and carries the build number 10.0.0.159.


  This update brings January 2020 security patch. This update brings updated camera design, an all-new Dark Mode, and more. The company said that this update brings a major UI refresh, brings over 60% improvements in GPU Turbo, over 70% improvements in Turbo Link, and over 20% in EROFS (Extendable Read-Only File System) ROM. It also comes with multi-device interoperability, allowing users to experience convenient conversations throughout the OS and also enables real-time interaction between computers and mobile phones across systems.

Note: This update is rolled out gradually and will take time to reach all devices.
