Dell XPS 13 and Latitude 9510 with 5G connectivity announced

  Dell has announced 3 new laptops for CES 2020, 2 new XPS 13 laptops along with a new Latitude 9510 laptop.


Dell Latitude 9510 specifications:

  The Dell Latitude 9510 sports a a 15-inch InfinityEdge display that is available on a chassis that is touted to be of a 14-inch notebook size. You will get touchscreen support in this laptop and there is a 2-in-1 version also available. It has machined-aluminium finish with diamond cut edges.

  The Latitude 9510 has up to 10th generation Intel Core i7 processors along with vPro. It has got carbon blade fans and dual heat pipes for thermal management. The Company claims the longest battery in any 15-inch business laptop, an impressive 30 hours. The Company said that they managed this by using an extremely energy efficient display panel that sips just 2W when in use. The Company claims an 88 WHr battery life.

  The laptop comes with WiFi 6 support along with 5G antenna’s built into the design of the speaker housing. The new Dell Optimizer software contains a host of software solutions aimed at improving secure log-ins, battery life, audio, etc. to that will benefit business users.

  The Dell Latitude 9510 will go on sale globally starting March 26 with an starting price tag of $1,799 (roughly Rs. 1,29,000).

Dell XPS 13 specifications:

  The Dell XPS 13 comes will be available in 2 models, the standard and the developer edition. Both laptops will feature Dell’s newer InfinityEdge display that extends to all four corner. Made with Corning Gorilla Glass, the XPS 13 screen now features a 16:10 aspect ratio utilizing that little extra space and is now 25% brighter than the previous generation.

  These two laptops will be powered by the 10th Gen Intel Core processors. The big difference between the standard XPS 13 edition and developer edition is that the developer edition will come preloaded with Ubuntu 18.04LTS and while the standard edition will come with Windows 10 OS.

  The Dell XPS 13 price starts at $999.99 (Approx. Rs. 72000) for the standard edition and $1,199.99 (Approx. Rs. 86000) for the developer edition. It will be available in the U.S., Canada, Sweden, UK, Germany and France from 7th January.
