TCL C8 4K series smartTVs launched in India
TCL has launched the C8 4K AI Smart TV Series in India and it comes in two different display sizes. TCL C8 4K AI TV Series smartTVs sports 55-inch and 65-inch screen sizes. The 55-inch variant offers a 54.6-inch viewable display size and both are 4K panels with a resolution of 3840 x 2160 pixels.
It has got Dolby Vision, HDR 10 and features TCL’s Wide Color Gamut, HDR Dynamic Contrast technology along with NBP Photon technology to deliver a vibrant and rich color palette. It is powered by a Dual-Core processor and a Dual-Core GPU. However, the company didn't announced the name of the processor. It runs on Android 9 Pie with Google Play Store support and has built-in Google Assistant. It features Onkyo speakers with support for Dolby Atmos.
Most importantly, The TCL C8 4K TV comes with AI far-field voice recognition technology, it lets you control the TVs using their voice. For instance, users can make program reservations, switch channels, power on or off, as well as control other smart home devices like sweeping robots, curtains, lights, etc. with your voice.
It has got Dual Band (2.4GHz and 5GHz) WiFi connectivity. Coming to the I/O, it sports 1x USB 2.0 port, 3 HDMI 2.0 w/HDCP 2.2 (1 ARC), 1x SPDIF Digital Audio Optical, 1x audio out, and 1x Ethernet port.
The TCL C8 55-inch 4K AI TV is priced at Rs. 49,990 and the 65-inch TV is priced at Rs. 69,990 in India. However, there is no information on availability yet.
