Asus Zenfone 5Z with Dual Rear Camera announced at MWC 2018


   Asus has announced Zenfone 5Z flagship smartphone at MWC 2018 in Barcelona. It has 6.2-inch (2246 × 1080 pixels) Full HD+ 19:9 Super IPS display with notch design like iPhone X and 90% screen-to-body ratio with AI Display for auto color temperate adjustment. This smartphone has Hybrid Dual sim (nano + nano / microSD) card slot. It can support Dual VoLTE.


    Asus Zenfone 5Z is powered by Octa-Core Qualcomm Snapdragon 845 Mobile Platform with Adreno 630 GPU. It has 4GB LPDDR4x RAM with 64GB storage / 6GB LPDDR4x RAM with 128GB storage / 8GB LPDDR4x RAM with 256GB storage. You can expand memory up to 2TB with microSD card via Hybrid slot. This smartphone is running on Android 8.0 (Oreo) with ZenUI 5.0 out of the box and it will get Android P update.

   Asus Zenfone 5Z has 12MP rear camera with Sony IMX363 sensor, 1.4μm pixel size, f/1.8 aperture, 0.03s Tri Tech auto-focus/Dual Pixel PDAF/ 4-axis OIS/EIS, Pro mode with RAW support, secondary 8MP camera with f/2.0 aperture, OV8856 sensor, 120-degree wide-angle lens and Dual-tone LED flash. It has 8MP front-facing camera with f/2.0 aperture, OV8856 sensor, 83° wide-angle lens and EIS.


   This smartphone has ZeniMoji like Apple's Animoji, this feature lets users animate cute avatars using their own voice, facial expressions and head movements. Uniquely, ZeniMoji avatars can be used in video chats or live-streaming, as well as in text chats.

    Asus Zenfone 5Z has rear mounted fingerprint sensor and it has also face unlock feature. It has dual speakers with five-magnets and NXP Smart amplifier. It is also the world’s first smartphone with DTS Headphone: X for 7.1-channel surround sound and comes bundled with Hi-Res Audio earphone.

    Asus Zenfone 5Z has 4G VoLTE, Wi-Fi 802.11 ac (2.4GHz + 5GHz), Bluetooth 5, GPS + GLONASS connectivity. It has USB Type-C port, 3.5mm Audio jack and FM radio. This smartphone is packed with 3300mAh battery and it can support ASUS BoostMaster fast charging and AI charging.
