4th Gen Amazon Echo speaker, Echo Dot and Echo Dot clock launched in India

  Amazon has launched the Echo (4th Gen), Echo Dot (4th Gen) and the Echo Dot (4th Gen) with clock in India. All these IOT devices comes new spherical shape, improved sound quality and bass, a  tap-to-snooze feature and a Low Power Mode for power savings.

4th Gen Amazon Echo speaker features:

  The New Amazon Echo speaker comes with a spherical shape with a circular ring of LED on the bottom. It features a 3.0-inch woofer, dual-firing tweeters with support for Dolby Stereo processing, improving the overall sound quality from the speaker. It also comes with Bluetooth Low Energy (BLE) for better energy efficiency. Amazon has also integrated the Zigbee smart home hub into the Echo, increasing its compatibility with smart home appliances and IoT devices. The Echo (4th gen) speaker comes in Black, White and Blue colours.

4th Gen Amazon Echo Dot and Echo Dot (clock) features:

  The 4th Gen Amazon Echo Dot and Echo Dot (clock) comes with the updated spherical shaped design. The speakers have 1.6-inch woofer, front-firing speaker housed within the same fabric finish exterior, producing crisp vocals and balanced bass. Amazon added simple LED lights that can show the time, outdoor temperature, timers, and alarms. The Echo Dot (4th gen) comes in Black, White and Blue colours, while the Echo Dot (4th gen) with clock will come in White and Blue colours.

Price and Availability

  The Echo (4th gen) speaker is priced at Rs. 9999, the Echo Dot (4th gen) is priced at Rs. 4499, while the Echo Dot (4th gen) clock version is priced at Rs. 5499 in India. The Echo Dot is available for pre-orders on Amazon, it will go on sale from October 26th, 2020 The sale date for the Echo and Echo Dot with Clock will be announced soon.
