Why 59 chinese Smartphone Apps Banned in India ?

  Couple of days back Indian Government banned 59 chinese apps, including most popular apps - TikTok, UC Browser and UCNews, ShareIt, Club Factory, Shein and CamScanner. These Apps have been removed from the Google Play Store and Apple’s App Store.


Why ?

  The Ministry of Information Technology said that it has received many complaints from various sources including several reports about misuse of some mobile apps available on Android and iOS platforms for stealing and surreptitiously transmitting users’ data in an unauthorized manner to servers which have locations outside India. The Information Technology ministry said that this move will safeguard the interests of crores of Indian mobile and internet users. This decision is a targeted move to ensure safety and sovereignty of Indian cyberspace.

  However, you don't have to worry about this news, because you have alternative apps in Play Store and Apps Store. I really appreciate "Indian Government" decision. I hope you guys will find alternative apps 👍
