AMD 4000 series powered Lenovo Legion 5, Legion 5P and IdeaPad Gaming 3 laptops announced

  These days AMD doing amazing work, many laptop manufacturing companys launching their laptops with AMD Ryzen processors. Now Lenovo has announced the new AMD variants of their Legion 5 17-inch and 15-inch laptops along with an AMD Ryzen variant of their Ideapad Gaming 3 laptop.

Legion 5 and 5P key feature

  The Lenovo Legion 5 is available in two display sizes - 15.6-inches and 17.3-inches and offers up to 144Hz 1080p panel with support for Dolby Vision. It has got white backlit Legion TrueStrike keyboard. The Ryzen 5 can be configured with up to an AMD Ryzen 7 4800 H-Series Mobile Processor, up to a NVIDIA GeForce RTX 2060 GPU. The Legion 5 packs up to 16GB 3200 MHz DDR4 memory and up to a 1TB PCIe SSD drive. It runs on Windows 10 OS out of the box.

  The company claims that the Legion 5 series laptops comes with Legion Coldfront 2.0 thermal solution and up to 7.5 hours of battery life in the 17.3-inch model.

  The Lenovo Legion 5P is also available with 144Hz 5ms response time Full HD panel and Dolby Atmos support. It also has got backlit keyboard with 4-zone RGB system backlighting. can be configurable with up to AMD Ryzen 7 4800 H-Series Mobile Processors and supports up to NVIDIA GeForce RTX 2060 GPUs. It can support up to 32GB 3200 MHz DDR4 memory and users can choose up to 1TB PCIe SSD. It also runs on Windows 10 OS out of the box.

  The Lenovo Legion 5P packs Dual Burn support and Lenovo Q-Control 3.0 for maximum performance and control.

  The Lenovo IdeaPad Gaming 3 has got 15-inch Display, the company also offering 120Hz refresh rate plus Full HD panel display option. It supports up to AMD Ryzen 7 4800 H-Series Mobile Processors and up to NVIDIA GeForce GTX 1650 Ti GPU. It runs on Windows 10 OS out of the box. It also comes with updated thermal design, with support for Lenovo Q-Control 3.0 for performance mode switching. It also comes with up to 32GB DDR4 RAM and a 1TB PCIe SSD.

Price and Availability

  The 17-inch Lenovo Legion 5 price starts at 1089.99 (Approx. Rs. 81,730) and will be available in September 2020, While the 15-inch Lenovo Legion 5 laptop (with an NVIDIA GeForce GTX 1650 Ti GPU) will be available now, starting at $759.99(Approx. Rs. 56,985). The 15-inch IdeaPad Gaming 3 laptop price starts at $659.99 (Approx. Rs. 49,487) and will be available from July 2020.
