Honor WaterPlay with 8-inch Display, Dual rear camera setup launched in China, price starts at 1499yuan

  Honor has launched the 8-inch display version of the Honor WaterPlay table pc. It comes with a 8-inch (1200 x 1920 pixels) WXGA display with 60% NTSC Color Gamut. It has IP67 ratings for water and dust Resistance. It is available in two variants - Wi-Fi and 4G LTE.


  The Honor WaterPlay table pc is powered by the Octa-Core Kirin 659 processor (4 xA53 at 2.36GHz + 4 x A53 at 1.7GHz) with MaliT830-MP2 GPU. It has 4GB RAM with 64GB /128GB storage, you can expand memory up to 256GB with microSD card. It runs on Android 8.1 Oreo OS with EMUI 5.1.

  In terms of camera, it has a 13MP primary rear camera with f/2.2 aperture, and it has a 2MP secondary rear camera with f/2.4 aperture. It comes with a 8MP front-facing camera with f/2.0 aperture.


  The Honor WaterPlay table pc comes with a fingerprint sensor. It has 4G LTE (Optional), WiFi 802.11 ac (2.4GHz + 5GHz), Bluetooth 4.2 LE, GPS connectivity. It has a USB Type-C port and 3.5mm audio jack. The company said that it comes with a Huawei Histen 3D audio. It packs a 5100mAh non-removable battery.

  The Honor WaterPlay 8-inch tablet pc is priced at 1499 yuan (US$ 217 / Rs. 15,860 approx.) for the 64GB WiFi version, 1899 yuan (US$ 275 / Rs. 20,095 approx.) for the 128GB WiFi version and the 64GB 4G LTE version costs 1799 yuan (US$ 261 / Rs. 19,035 approx.) in China. It is available for order in China and goes on sale from November 6.
