Sony RX0 Ultra compact camera with water proof and shockproof launched in India

   Sony has launched Sony RX0 water proof and shockproof compact camera in India. This camera was launched the IFA 2017 in Berlin last year. Sony RX0 comes with 1.0″-type stacked 15.3 MP Exmor RS CMOS image sensor, it has BIONZ X processor and a wide-angle ZEISS Tessar T 24mm F4 fixed lens. It can take both RAW and JPEG stills and it can record 4K videos, 1080p at 240fps and this camera can record super slow motion videos at up to 960 frames per second.


   Sony RX0 comes with Anti-Distortion Shutter, that can shoot as fast as 1/32000 second. It has 3.8-inch LCD display. It has Wi-Fi 802.11 b/g/n (2.4GHz) and Bluetooth 4.1 connectivity. Multiple Sony RX0 cameras can be linked together to produce unique content like bullet-time, time-slice and many other unique styles. Sony’s PlayMemories Mobile app allows up to five RX0 models to be connected and controlled wirelessly from any paired device.

  Most important thing is Sony RX0 is waterproof at depths of up to 10 meters (33 ft) on its own, and can be used at up to 100m (330 ft) depth when paired with the new MPK-HSR1 Housing. It is also shockproof, when dropped from up to 2 meters (6.5 ft) and crushproof (1 to 200kg / 440lb / 2000N).



   Sony RX0 is priced at ₹ 64,990 in India.
