  The Garmin vivosmart 5 fitness band in India on 9th June. The Vivosmart 5 features a 0.73-inch OLED display with 88x154 pixels resolution. The small variant fits wrist with a circumference of 122-188mm, and the large variant fits wrist with a circumference of 148-228mm, as per the company. It is available in Black and Mint colour options.  It is also 5ATM certified for water resistance, it can withstand pressures equivalent to a depth of 50 meters.

  The Vivosmart 5 is compatible with Android and iOS devices. Sadly, it doesn't have a built-in GPS, but it allows it to connect to your smartphone and measure the distance, speed, and tempo of your runs and bike rides. The smart features include the ability to view text messages, calendar notifications, and news alerts, including social media updates on the watch face. It comes with heart rate monitoring, blood oxygen tracking, advanced sleep monitoring, stress tracking, and women's health tracking.

  The Vivosmart 5 comes with a unique feature called Fitness Age, it tracks the wearer's weekly vigorous activity, resting heart rate, and BMI or body fat percentage to estimate if the wearer's body is younger or older than they actually are.

  The tracker can track activity levels, sleep, menstrual cycles, blood oxygen levels, and stress. The company said that the fitness band can deliver up to 7 days of battery life when you’re not using the pulse oximeter or sleep tracker-the vivosmart 5 is designed to be worn all day and all night.

  The Garmin vivosmart 5 is priced at Rs. 14,990 in India, it is available on Garmin's official website, Amazon, Flipkart and authorised distributer Synergizer.
