  Nubia has launched the RedMagic 6 and 6 Pro smartphones in China. These two smartphones feature a 6.8-inch Full HD+ AMOLED screen with 165Hz refresh rate, 500Hz single finger touch sampling rate and 360Hz multi-finger touch sampling rate. The display supports adaptive refresh rate technology that selects the most accurate refresh rate between 60Hz/90Hz/120Hz/165Hz based on your activity.

  The company said that the RedMagic 6 Pro comes with aero-grade heat dissipation ice blade design. The material selected is a high thermal conductivity aviation aluminum alloy material with a thermal conductivity of 200W/(mK). It enhances the heat dissipation and thermal conductivity of the back cover, and can reduce the tactile temperature of the fuselage surface by 3 to 5 degrees on average.

  The RedMagic 6 series smartphones have 400Hz Dual Pro Shoulder Triggers and Classic gaming aesthetic design with RGB light strip. The RedMagic 6 series smartphones are powered by the Snapdragon 888 SoC and runs on Android 11 OS out of the box. RedMagic 6 series uses the new ICE 6.0 Multi-dimensional Cooling System with a built-in turbofan. The built-in high-speed centrifugal turbofan can reach up to an astounding 20,000 rpm and the canyon air duct design for airflow increases the air heat transfer coefficient by 500%. There’s also a large copper foil, covering the battery, while a vapor chamber (the world’s thinnest at 0.33mm) sits behind the motherboard, connected by thermal paste.

Price and Availability

  The RedMagic 6 is priced at 3799 yuan (US$ 587 / Rs. 42,760 approx.) for the 8GB + 128GB version, 4099 yuan (US$ 633 / Rs. 46,135 approx.)  for the 12GB + 128GB version and the 12GB + 256GB version costs 4399 yuan (US$ 679 / Rs. 49,510 approx.) In China.

  The RedMagic 6 Pro smartphone is priced at 4399 yuan (US$ 679 / Rs. 49,510 approx.) for the 12GB + 128GB version, 4799 yuan (US$ 741 / Rs. 54,010 approx.) for the 12GB + 256GB version and the 16GB + 256GB version costs 5299 yuan (US$ 819 / Rs. 59,640 approx.). The transparent 16GB + 256GB version costs 5599 yuan (US$ 865 / Rs. 63,055 approx.) and 18GB + 512GB version costs 6599 yuan (US$ 1019 / Rs. 74,315 approx.) in China.

  These two smartphones are now available for pre-order and will go on sale in China from March 11. Global version will be launched on March 16th.
