  Acer has announced the Chromebook Spin 514, the company also announced Chromebook Enterprise Spin 514 for working professionals.   The Acer Spin 514 features a 14-inch Full HD touch IPS display with Corning Gorilla Glass for protection. The laptop is MIL-STD 810H military grade compliant. The 2-in-1 laptop's chassis is made of anodised, sandblasted aluminium and features a diamond-cut pattern on the top cover and touchpad. Acer says that the laptop is designed to survive drops from heights of up to 122cm and withstand up to 60kg of downward force. It features backlit keyboard.

 The Acer Spin 514 is the first Chromebooks to be powered by AMD’s new AMD Ryzen 3000 C-Series Mobile Processors. It can be configured with either AMD Ryzen 7 3700C or Ryzen 5 3500C quad-core processor, both of which are based on the Zen architecture. The laptop also come inbuilt with Radeon Vega Mobile Graphics, offer up to 16 GB DDR4 DRAM and up to 256 GB storage. The laptop runs on Windows 10 OS out of the box.

   It has has got two USB Type-C ports, both supporting USB 3.2 Gen 1, two USB 3.2 Gen 1 Type-A ports, MicroSD card reader, it supports Dual-band Wi-Fi 5 and Bluetooth 5 connectivity.


Price and Availability

  The Acer Chromebook Spin 514 (CP514-1H) price starts at $479.99 (Approx. Rs. 35,144), it will be available in February 2021. While the Acer Chromebook Enterprise Spin 514 (CP514-1WH) price starts at $749.99 (Approx. Rs. 54,914) and it will be available in March 2021. These two laptops will be available in North America and EMEA countries. The company hadn't revealed any information on the laptops' India availability yet.
