Google Removes Viral 'Remove China Apps' App from Google Play Store


  The top trending Indian app called 'Remove China Apps' App has been removed from Google Play Store. This Indian App downloaded more than 5 million times since late May and enabled users to detect and easily delete apps developed by Chinese firms. The Remove China App was developed by Indian firm OneTouch AppLabs.

  Recently, The App popularity in India in part because of a growing anti-China sentiment among many citizens as tension between the world’s two most populous nations has escalated in recent days over a Himalayan border dispute. Several Indian celebrities and famous Ram Dev Baba backed the idea of deleting Chinese apps.

Note: Google says it doesn't allow “apps that mislead users into removing or disabling third-party apps or modifying device settings or features.”
