  The Sony SRS-XB13 EXTRA BASS portable wireless speaker has been launched in India. The new sony speaker is IP67 dust and water resistance, making it highly resistant to exposure to the elements and suitable for outdoor use. It is 7.45cm wide and 9.45 cm high. It has a weight of a little over 25 grams. The new speaker comes in six colour options — Coral Pink, Lemon Yellow, Light Blue, Taupe, Black and Power Blue.

  The Sony SRS-XB13 EXTRA BASS wireless speaker houses a single 46mm speaker driver. There is also a passive radiator that helps produce the bass-friendly sonic signature that the Extra Bass lineup from Sony is known for. It comes with Bluetooth 4.2 connectivity, it is compatible with Android and iOS devices, it also supports SBC and AAC Bluetooth codecs and a rated frequency response range of 20-20,000Hz. It does support Google Fast Pair support, and an inbuilt microphone that lets you use the speaker as a hands-free unit for calls.

  The new sony wireless speaker has got five buttons — power, Bluetooth, play/pause, volume up and volume down — which are quite basic and essential. It also comes with USB Type-C port. The company claims up to 16 hours of battery life with single charge.

  The Sony SRS-XB13 EXTRA BASS portable wireless speaker is priced at Rs. 3990 in India. It is available from Sony retail stores (Sony Center and Sony Exclusive), www.ShopatSC.com portal, major electronic stores, as well as Amazon.in and Flipkart online stores.
