LG to announce QNED and MINI LED smartTVs at CES 2021

  LG is going unveil their first ever QNED Mini LED TVs at the event, with a total of 10 new 4K and 8K models for their 2021 premium LCD TV line up. The LG smartTVs will feature quantum dot and NanoCell technologies and added a Mini LED backlight array for better contrast and deeper blacks in images, improving its vibrancy and realism.

  The TVs will also support refresh rates up to 120Hz. The smartTVs will have HDR capabilities are also vastly improved, the almost 30,000 tiny LEDs that give the TV a contrast ratio of 1,000,000:1 and nearly 2,500 dimming zones with advanced local dimming technology. LG also will be showcasing their top-of-the-line 86-inch 8K QNED TV in their virtual CES booth starting from January 11th, 2021.
