Meizu M6s with 18:9 display, Samsung's Exynos processor

    Chainese company Meizu has launched Meizu M6S smartphone in China. Meizu M6s has 5.7-inch (1440 × 720 pixels) HD+ 18:9 2.5D curved glass in-cell display. It can support Dual sim. This smartphone comes with unibody metal design.


    Meizu M6s is powered by Hexa-Core (2.0GHz x 2 Cortex-A73 + 1.6GHz x 4 Cortex-A53) Samsung Exynos 7872 14nm processor with Mali-G71 GPU. It has 3GB RAM with 32GB / 64GB storage, and expandable memory up to 128GB with microSD card. This smartphone is running on Android 7.1.2 Nougat OS with Flyme OS 6.2.

    Meizu M6s has 16 Megapixel rear camera with f/2.0 aperture, 5P lens, CMOS sensor and Dual-tone LED flash. It has 8 Megapixel front-facing camera with f/2.0 aperture.

    Meizu M6s comes with Super mBack fingerprint sensor on the right side that can unlock the phone in 0.2 seconds and is also customizable to perform several actions. It has Super mBack feature which can help with navigation on the device via simple gestures like swiping left, swiping right etc and users will have the option of switching to the traditional Android navigation bar as well. Meizu says they have relied on a pressure sensor under the display to implement this feature.

    Meizu M6s has 4G VoLTE, Wi-Fi 802.11 a/b/g/n, Bluetooth 4.2, GPS + GLONASS connectivity. It has microUSB port, 3.5mm Audio jack. This smartphone is packed with 3000mAh non-removable Battery.

    Meizu M6s is priced at 999 yuan (US$ 155 / ₹ 9,900 approx.) for the 32GB storage version and the 64GB storage version costs 1199 yuan (US$ 186 / ₹ 11,900 approx.). It will be available for order starting today and goes on sale from January 19th in China. No details about global rollout roll out.
